Give thanks to God for hearing our prayers and the miracles that’s
about to happen within indigenous communities. Thanks God for
everything He is about to do and praise Him, for He is God. Declare His
praises over Australia.
Up and coming Federal Election - that God will give us the right person for PM.
Brothers and sisters, I want to draw your attention to some Old Testament examples. In 2 Kings
18, Hezekiah the son of Ahaz, is made king replacing his father. Ahaz
was a wicked king and he took Judah into idolatry, the nation of Judah
suffered dramatically morally, and economically. Along came his son,
Hezekiah and he restored worship, restored the temple that was broken
down, and restored Righteousness. Hezekiah is on of the first and great
reformers of Judah. Whilst he was king over Judah, he brought economic
wealth and the nation prospered under his leadership.
Unfortunately after him came his son Manasseh, the most wicked of all th kings
of Judah and Israel, and he pulled down all the things his father
built. Judah suffered and went down under his leadership. This was the
pattern of all the kings of Judah and Israel for over a thousand years.
The fears I have with the coming election, is that we could easily fall
into the pattern of Israel and Judah, if the leadership coming into
Government does not uphold righteousness, and justice as the foundation
of its Government.
We
have prospered with economic growth and stability with our present
government. We are also blessed with a high percentage of Christians in
parliament as well.
Psalms 11:3 - "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"
Proverbs 14:34 - "Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people."
Reconciliation, unity and understanding between the different indigenous tribes of Australia.
Prayer Points
Ephesians
4:25-32 - "Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak
truthfully to his neighbour, for we are all members of one body. In
your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still
angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. He who has been stealing
must steal no longer. But must work doing something useful with his own
hands that he may have something to share with those in need.
